Your details, plainly
We ask for as little as possible and do nothing clever with it. Here's the whole of it.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, phone number, and — if you choose to give them — your email address, dates, number of guests, and any message. Nothing else about you is collected, and none of it is required beyond a name and a phone number so we can reply.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry and arrange your stay. That's the only purpose.
Where it goes
Your enquiry is stored in our booking records and emailed to us so we see it promptly. It isn't sold, rented, or shared with anyone for marketing, and we don't add you to a mailing list.
No tracking
This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and sets no tracking cookies. We can't tell who you are as you browse, and we don't try to.
Things stored on your own device
The site remembers a few preferences in your browser's local storage — whether you chose light or dark mode, whether you saved the villa, and which prompts you've dismissed. These stay on your device and are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Services the page loads
Some parts of the site are provided by others, and loading them means your browser contacts those services directly, which reveals your IP address to them as any web request does. They are: Google Maps for the embedded maps, OpenStreetMap and CARTO for the map of nearby places, Esri for the opening satellite view, Open-Meteo for the current weather, and an open exchange-rate service for currency conversion. Fonts and images are served from this site itself, not from a third party.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we're in conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. Ask us to delete yours at any point and we will.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we'll sort it out — there's no form to fill in.
